Retail Print Print Smart Pilot : Project will redefine print at retail locations, changing employee to printer ratio from 1 : 1 to 5 : 1 with a projected savings of $5 million annually. Technology lead for requirement gathering, product and service offering evaluation, selection and contract negotiation process that included 8 different vendors. Developed and documented hardware configurations to integrate network scanning into retail environment. Responsibilities included technical qualification of vendors solutions hardware and software, deployment methodology, development and documentation of standard configurations and on-going support of project.

Implementation of Wireless cellular solutions : Review of cellular modem technology offerings to be used by remote workers. Reviewed, tested and qualified solutions provided by 4 major service providers. Created deployment methodology to support implementation of 3 vendor s products and supported delivery to end user community.

Multifunction Scanning workflow for Consumer Lending and HR business units : Working with business units implemented scanning capability using existing copiers to store documents electronically. Implementation prevented the need to purchase standalone scanners and PC workstations to support them. Project to offset $5 million yearly FedEx expense in shipping documents to centralized scanning facilities.

Client side implementation of Juniper SSL-VPN. Team member responsible for integration of software into WaMu standard workstations images. Providing testing and supported release. SSL-VPN was adopted to replace Nortel product due to its ability to support 20000 users in a pandemic situation.

Retail Anti-Fraud Scanning : Provided WaMu Corporate Security team with solution for scanning compromised banking hardware. Developed and documented process and provided training to security specialists.

Project team : Participated in launch project team. Team development WaMu specific methodology, documented process and implemented enterprise wide.

Successfully led consulting engagement, from inception to completion, PC conversion project.

Provided 3rd level support to 10 additional desk-side technicians serving end-users throughout 13 states. Responsible for estimating and managing timelines and level of effort, managing end-user stakeholders and keeping account managers informed. Served on change control board administering enterprise-wide IT changes.

For each site and each department undergoing conversion, served as the single point-of-contact between local executives and the IT department. Earned 3 distinguished service awards for successful, on-time delivery of projects with superior customer service. My project received the highest customer satisfaction rating of any IT project at Texaco during my tenure.

Desktop Conversion Project : Team lead, managing 9 technicians a three-year desktop migration program to update end-user application and operating systems. Trained and supervised 10 technicians for migration of 4500 systems in 33 offices across AL, AZ, CA, CO, HI, KS, NV, NM, OK, OR, TX and WA. Developed and implemented methodology that reduced the project timeline. Worked with stakeholders to determine workflow priorities and task sequencing.
