Managed software architecture design and development for HRP metrology product for the semiconductor and data storage industries. This is a fully automated system with wafer handling robotics, micro-positioning stage, high resolution force control profilometry, machine vision, data analysis algorithms and advanced graphical user interface and 3D visualization running under Windows NT : KLA-Tencor.

Developed and integrated a robotic sub-system and an X-Y wafer stage for an AFM and adapted system software architecture for use in semiconductor metrology applications : TopoMetrix.

Resolved long-standing machine vision problems caused by highly reflective semiconductor wafers after CMP step by applying image processing algorithms : KLA-Tencor.

Instituted the usage of a parametric 3D modeling tool for mechanical design projects, reducing time-to-market and improving manufacturability and reliability. Using this design paradigm, Introduced a Near Field Scanning Optical Microscope product based on the tuning fork technology : TopoMetrix.
