Lead Systems Analyst WITH roles of a Team Lead and a Data Architect.
Worked as a Lead Systems Analyst for the Reports Verification Team of Pfizer Incentive Compensation Data
Warehouse. Redesigned all the existing Data Warehouse Reports according to the new Sales Structure

FFO. Conducted Meetings and Discussions with the third party vendor to develop testing strategy for the new reports. The reports ware being deployed in the new Excel Spreadsheet format and the old Oracle Reports 6i Format was abandoned. Prior to this implementation, Architected and Deployed a complete scalable solution with the CSC Team for an automated Reports Verification System for all the Incentive Compensation Reports. Developed Design Documents and Technical Analysis Documents to express both Logical and Physical Architecture of the new database schema. Developed, tested and deployed a comprehensive set of UNIX shell scripts to execute all the disparate processes in the Warehouse application Oracle Package Execution, Informatica PowerCenter Server calls and other technologies.

Responsibilities

Architected the solution for Automated Incentive Compensation Verification system. This involved Logical and Physical Architecture Design, Functional Requirement Design, Extraction and Loading Strategy, Load Testing Strategy, Designing Unit Test Plan Format.
Implemented Relational Logical and Physical Data Modeling for 3 schema in the project

Designed Informatica Workflows and other forms of metadata mappings and sessions and documented it for passing it on to the Informatica Team for development.

Designed Dimensions and Cubes using the Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL*Plus to be used by the OLAP team in their applications.
Working with the Design Team to architect, design and develop some of the existing Upstream processing using Designer Tools ERWin and finalizing the data model. Both Dimensional Modeling and Relational Modeling was used to achieve this.

Introduced the application of Materialized Views for the Reports Verification Team and other audiences so that they could view the Aggregated Sales Data as opposed to writing raw queries.
Worked with the Incentive Compensation FFCS team to provide support for Downstream reporting processes. This system was primarily a heavy process oriented data warehouse with the central tables designed in a Star Schema.
Designed, Developed and Deployed the project to automate the generation of Excel Formatted Spreadsheet reports with multiple tabs using the latest Java Apache Jakarta POI Project. This included the development of a Java Program interfacing with Oracle to extract and present the data in XLS format.

Coordinated with testers/end-users to roll out the migration from Oracle 7.3.4 to Oracle 9i and Forms 6 to Forms 6i. Frequently met with Functional Leads, Project Leads, FRST Team and other different groups to figure out innovative ways to enhance the application both functionally and technically. Developed applications in Pro*C to process Medicaid transactions and write scripts to interface with another agency DMA and monitor the batch jobs. Lead an effort with a Data Mining Analyst to write algorithm for Demographics Matching between 2 agencies DSS and DTA.
