Designed and implemented the banks Earnings at-Risk system in Visual Basic 6 C++, Microsoft SQL Server 7 ADO and Perl, to aggregate and pro rate over calendar months a set of projected cash flows for a portfolio of 200 CMOs and Bonds.

Implemented a system to project income and expenses for the entire portfolio using projected cash flows, interest rate curves and daily amortization figures. The system aggregated amounts to be financed for user defined subsets of the portfolio.

Export results programmatically to Excel. Wrote scripts for Sybase database interfaces.

Produced detailed user and programmers documentation. System setup and system support.

Designed and implemented a program in Perl, using pattern matching to recognize and capture financial transaction messages in a large number of text files. The text files were obtained via OCR from fiche, requiring approximate matching techniques.
