This job for the United Airlines has 2 Projects :-
1)UA as the FFP (Frequent Flyer Program)..
2)UA as the Ticketed Channel (TKT)
Star MUA is the Middleware connecting the FFP Client and the Ticketing Platform.
The main purpose of this project is to Upgrade the Ticket purchased in either Economy or Business Class into the Next Higher Cabin only, using the miles he earned in his previous trips either using UA flight or Any of the Other Star Alliance flights.
Only Two Segments are allowed per trip (i.e) Either a Return Trip or a Trip for traveling from One City to Another and again between two other Cities, either Domestic and / or International flights.
In the FFP Project, it is the normal GUI Testing of the Webpage in which the Customer fills up all the Ticket Details like PNR no, Names of all the Passengers, Date of Travel, Flight No., Origin and Destination, Existing class of the ticket when booked, Destination, etc etc.
We used Silk 6.1 for this module testing.
In the TKT Platform, it is not the GUI Testing, but the Middleware Testing, where the Entire Toolbar has to be sent as an XML message, for each and every Test Script execution.
So, Star MW provides the Web Services for communicating between the TKT Airline and the FFP Client.

In I-Grab project, we could extract the entire contents of any web site and have mobile device access to that, which would not be otherwise possible

Star MUA is the Middleware connecting the FFP Client and the Ticketing Platform.

The main purpose of this project is to Upgrade the Ticket purchased in either Economy or Business Class into the Next Higher Cabin only, using the miles he earned in his previous trips either using UA flight or Any of the Other Star Alliance flights.

Only 2 Segments are allowed per trip Either a Return Trip or a Trip for traveling from 1 City to Another and again between 2 other Cities, either Domestic and or or International flights.
In the FFP Module, it is the normal GUI Testing of the Webpage in which the Customer fills up all the Ticket Details like PNR no, Names of all the Passengers, Date of Travel, Flight No, Origin and Destination, Existing class of the ticket when booked, Destination, etc etc.
In the TKT Platform, it is not the GUI Testing but the Middleware Testing, where the Entire Toolbar has to be sent as an XML message, for each and every Test Script execution.
So, Star MW provides the Web Services for communicating between the TKT Airline and the FFP Client.

In I-Grab project, we could extract the entire contents of any web site and have mobile device access to that which would not be otherwise possible provide several web services to customers.
