Description : The website serves as a product information site. kuster sports is a major player who deals with the shopping for adventurous sports accessories for sommersports, wintersport, indoorsport, joggings and for trekking. kuster sports also deals with camping accessories and different variants of kajaks. This site helps the kuster sports to provide the informations regarding the products that they offer and the latest news and provides technical information and image gallery of each product that they offer. An online shop is associated with the site in order to purchase the products that kuster sports offer. There is a additional functionlity where visitors can advertise the products that they like.

Project Type : A corporate portal for an MNC.
Description : To create a unified portal for the mulitple companies, we planned to use the used and flexbile CMS, TYPO3. The cms was used in a way that it provides a manageable portal for the 3 companies/domains.
The unified portal design was done using the page structuring provided by the CMS. The 3 domains needed different templates and their logos. So we need to integrate a templating system which will help in mainitaining different style for these domains. For that we implemented a template_selecting engine which results a template selector where each page is integrated into a template.
The content for the pages are managed by 3 different mechanisms

News keyvisual
Page Content : This is the default mechanism for content entry in the CMS. Where Administrator user is provided with a enhanced content editor.
News : This section relates to a number of news items, where Administrator user can enter any number of news items and is published in the website. These news are displayed according to the template selected.
Keyvisual : these entries are integrated in the home page of each domain, these entries is created and managed by the Administrator. These are displayed in the home page for each domain as per the template selected.

The main consideration while creating the portal, was that it displays any kind of content in the page without affecting the templating system. The system was built in a way that it supports the default styles and those is overrided by custom made styles.
The portal is build in way that we can activate/ deactivate a domain at any time and the corresponding pages is made hidden from the portal, the different domain graphical links are created using the extended features of typo3 and menu generation codes.

This system has important feature of video conversion, any video uploaded to the system is converted to FLV's. This system allows to create communities groups, allows messaging internally, blog creation is possible through Administrator side.
Administration modules are provided to manage the uploaded videos, registered users. Etc.
