Details As part of Legacy Modernization, - All the existing placeholder functionality that exists on the legacy platform are converted into SOA architecture by modifying the existing IMS programs and creating the new DB2 programs. The IMS data is migrated from the IMS segments on to DB2 tables.
All the Agent Plan data existing on the IMS segments are moved to DB2 tables. This involves high interaction with the Application Service Providers to reformat the data before it is loaded onto the DB2 tables. This leverages the Single Source of Truth concept.

Details BCBSM decided to convert the local group numbers to NASCO group numbers to have the universal numbers. All the impacted external interface programs were code changed and implemented in production.

Responsibilities Analyzed all the external interface programs for any impacts of NASCO group Number. This involved both the batch and online programs.
Designed at the onshore, got the approval from the client and sent the design documents to offshore for development.
Coordinate with the offshore team in doing the coding and unit testing on the MF Cobol.
Code checking at the onshore, unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing at the onshore.

Developed the CICS screens for the end users to enter the Monthly leased values and tostore the data on to the DB2 tables.
