As a United Airlines District Sales Manager, I managed 15 Account Executives with responsibilities, budgeting, marketing, employee career development and performance evaluations. District and individual sales exceeded goal by 20% which contributed to the region being the first to achieve over a billion dollars in annual revenue.
While a District Sales Manager for United Airlines, I led a team of 10 colleagues at the crash site of United Airlines flight 232 in Sioux City, Iowa, delegating responsibilities at St.Luke s Hospital in support of the survivors and their families. The commitment and compassion shown to each individual by United Airline s employees provided the needed help, support and comfort.
As a Sales Manager in the Los Angeles United Airlines Reservation office, I managed 75 Reservation Sales Representatives. The duties included recruiting employees, monitoring client calls and providing performance evaluations. Under my supervision, sales exceeded their goal by 10% and there was a reduction in customer call time which increased the individual and company productivity.
Project Coordination
Planned, implemented and completed an Accreditation process encompassing 30 programs at Catholic Charities in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The Accreditation Certificate which endorses a well-managed organization, helped to increase fund raising efforts by 12%.
Developed and implemented a client activity monitoring system for a Senior Thrivent Financial Consultant that tracked client appointments and follow up assignments for over 250 clients. This efficient system increased appointments which created additional business, helping the financial consultant become 1 of, Thrivent s, top 5 producers for the state of Minnesota in 2006.
Created, implemented and updated a tracking process to manage residential moves at Lakeside Retirement Community. Organized and facilitated daily meetings with managers reviewing move issues with all departments. Worked with families and residents to ensure a smooth transition, completing over 100 moves in 12 months.
