Function : As NSN CS core network engineer I was responsible for all operations and maintenance tasks related to Telenor Pakistan Core Networks North Region.
General : Troubleshooting and follow up on trouble reports
Operation and Maintenance
Details of Operational Tasks : Evaluate, trouble shoot and resolve fault reports received from technical dept. or NOC.
Siemens D900 MSC/STP and Nokia Rel 4 MSS/MGW hardware troubleshooting and administration of repair and replacement of spare parts and faulty HW modules.

Perform maintenance activities on all core network elements, to ensure reliability and minimize system outages.
Respond to emergency call outs by NOC to restore any core network service effecting problems and try to solve the problem to coordinate with Higher TAC.
Perform System backups and routine savings for all core network elements in accordance to their system requirements.

Evaluate, implement and test all Work orders/ Change requests Trunk database, expansions which are related to core network systems.

Coordinate with field implementation team any activities performed in MSC site.
Update site specific documents for all core network elements in collaboration with Core network planning responsible.
Responsible for performing BTS sites and BSC Rehomings.
Administration of database for routing and subscriber administration.
