PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE : Owner, St.Cloud River Bats Baseball Club 1996 - present. Owner of this Northwoods League baseball team in St.Cloud Minnesota. Employ 2, full-time staff people to manage the business of this minor-league baseball operation delivering good, wholesome family entertainment to central Minnesota for 11 years.

Region Sales Manager/ VP of Sales, Golden Valley Microwave Foods/ConAgra Snack Foods Division. 1997 - 2004. Directed grocery brokers throughout the upper Midwest in and effort to reach quarterly and annual sales objectives. Managed direct sales responsibility for Target, Costco, the military and Schwan s. Furthermore, I initiated and directed the our sports marketing efforts for such brands as ACT II Microwave Popcorn, Crunch n Munch, Orville Redenbacher and David s Sunflower Seeds. Maximized sales bonus in 23 of the 28 quarters while at GVMF/Con Agra.

Founder, Sutherland Sherwood Marketing Group. 1989 - 1997. Served as president of this sports marketing agency through the life of the company. Worked with companies like M and M Mars like Master Brands, Nestle Beverage, Frito-Lay, Unilever, Kraft General Foods and others in creating and executing local and regional sports oriented programs to assist regional sales offices to obtain quarterly and annual sales goals.

Director of Marketing, Minnesota North Stars 1987 - 89. Worked with Vice President of Marketing to develop all advertising and promotional schedules. Developed and sold innovative promotional programs to increase ticket sales and overall per capita revenue lift.

Assistant Director of Promotions, Minnesota Twins 1985 - 87. Managed all group sales efforts while directing in-season and off-season promotional calendars for the team. Served as assistant to the Director of the 1986 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

Assistant General Manager of the Vero Beach Dodgers, Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers 1984 - 85. Responsible for all sales and season long promotional sales and tactical implementation for the franchise.
