The existing application AIMS caters to the business requirements of 3 states NY, CA and VT. In this project, AIMS functionality is enhanced to cater to 7 more states CT, TX, PA, WV, NM, NJ and CA. The new functionality of 7 states is implemented in 2 phases. The first phase will consist of states CT, TX, PA and phase-2 will consist of WV, NM, NJ and CA. The phase-2 will start after phase-1 construction is over and string testing for phase-1 is started.

The EDS is designed to track and process announcements, entitlements and payments on a majority of dividend bearing securities. Announcements are retrieved from product master and on the appropriate dates, the relevant comprehensive positions are picked up from stock status, the global clearance system and the open item file.

Project involves enhancements and modifications to be done to the EDS and CS systems both on-line and batch from offshore. This project is maintenance of Equity Dividend System EDS and Commissions CS which is an IBM mainframe CICS/DB2 system. The main purpose of these systems is dividend and commission processing. Other notable functions of this system are Domestic and International Bond interest processing, interim accounting, conversion of income to a customers preferred currency etc.
