Working with Rail Road company, my responsibility as a Business Analyst and Developer to provide the Reports to retrieve accurate Data from the database for the future planning and calculations. Gathered requirements from functional users in Sales, Inventory, Finance, Controlling, Quality and Purchasing for cross functional analysis. Defined work packages and technical specifications for design, development, testing and roll-out. Monitored the development of data model to satisfy the various functional requirements by implementing queries and cubes using business content. The main cubes customized and maintained are Sales Overview 0SD_C03 Delivery Service 0SD_C04 Purchasing Data 0PUR_C01 and Vendor Evaluation 0PUR_C02 Inventory management analysis 0IC_C03 Production Planning and and Controlling, COPA 0COPA_C01 General Ledger : Transaction Figures 0FIGL_C01 customized QM Notification DSO according to user requirements. Worked with functional consultant for mapping the source data R3 to target Data Sources in BI. The team configured Custom cubes, Transfer rules, Transfer Structures, Update Rules, ODS, Cubes, Aggregates, queries and workbooks. The team customized and maintained Data Sources like Billing 2LIS_13_VDHDR Sales Order 2LIS_11_VAHDR and Delivery Order 2LIS_12_VCHDR for the SD module and Purchasing Order Item 2LIS_02_ITM and Purchasing Schedule line Item 2LIS_02_SCL for MM. Used process chains to schedule the info packages and data transfer processes. Also customized primary LO Cockpit structures 2LIS_11_VAHDR 2LIS_11_VAITM 2LIS_11_VASCL and set the Extraction process using LO cockpit and V-3 updates. Also configured BW objects, generic data sources to extract data from R/3 systems. Worked with the users for defining the reporting needs and helped design/develop flexible queries and pre-calculated reports using BEX reporting features like variables, exception and conditions in Sales and Purchasing areas. Created SAP BI reports which include Plan/Actual revenue comparison, Order and sales value by sales representatives and Vendor delivery efficiency. Analyzed report performance for statistics and implemented proposals for aggregate creations and indexing. Tuned queries using Partitioning, Aggregates and Multi providers. Extensively tested the developed objects using Test Director. Participated in change control team for defect prevention/correction and approving changed/additional requirements. Defined phases for requirements that were not critical for initial go-live. Developed prototype and presented the demo session for user acceptance. Created the User Guide for training. Trained users in Bex Analyzer and Business Object.

In charge of analyzing the user requirements and creating or updating the tool reports using HTML-Kit, Excel 2003 with Macro using VB, Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g and creating the SQL statements and procedure using SQL Navigator for Oracle and XML code for online Application. Mainly responsible for the full life cycle ie from user input to implementation of the report. Created several different reports like 300mm Flow Tracking using HTML-Kit, Excel spread sheet and Oracle database, with creating SQL query and XML code for online Application. The purpose of the AALPS was to provide firm requirements for Air load planning. This contains the manufacturers specifications and constraints of all United States US Military and Civil Reserve Aircraft and some North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO cargo aircraft. It includes passengers, equipment items and equipment item accessories. In charge of designing the Database for the Automated Air Load Planning System AALPS using Entity relationship diagrams and normalization techniques. Apart from the normal DBA activities like backup of databases, their recovery, tuning, etc .I was responsible for scheduling backup activities, troubleshooting and Configuration changes, starting/shutting down servers, bcp out/in tables, creating databases, altering databases, troubleshooting blocks and killing them, tempdb issues and transaction log issues. Implemented the database in Sybase 11.5 and upgraded to 11.9 to 12.0 to 12.5 Responcible for Install, monitor and performance issue and also for database tune up, backup/recovery planning and support. Accountable for the full life cycle I.e. from user input to implementation, for application programming of AALPS using Visual Studio and it is being maintained in the .Net framework. Wrote functions procedures and triggers using .NET and SQL scripts, using batch files to create the database automatic and more robust. Reviewed and maintain the life cycle and documentation. Developed Application System Processes using MS Visio and database design in ERwin. During transition, Responsible to train other staff members and conduct work-shops.
