Description :
Mass Mutual MM is an insurance company consolidating all the policies from their Administrator systems and legacy systems . The data from the legacy systems need to be cleaned up prior to its conversion . The main objective of the clean up process is to have the accurate , consistent , valid and uniform data . The goal of the data synchronization process is to incorporate all the relevant changes after the Initial Extracts Pull Date to the cleansed policies until they are converted . The Cleansed Data Store or CDS Cleansed Data Store is the database that stores and processes the necessary changes on the cleansed policies . The primary clean up on the policy is done using the Intermediate Data Store IDS system . Once the policy becomes Data Accepted , it is considered for the further cleanup to keep the data current on further changes happening at Mass Mutual for that policy using the CDS System .
CDS projects contain 2 sections FORMS and REPORTS .
Forms :
Around 48 screens/forms developed using Xforms as front end tool and sqlserver2005 backend .
Reports :
Around 29 reports being developed using PLSQL language .
Approach :
The approach for developing the FORMS and REPORTS to the project is first of all we went through BRD Business Requirement Document and had a discussion with the customer and development team so that we are on the same page then we started technical approach if something is not captured in the application , after finalization of the Requirement gathering we started our development . we developed Reports using Plsql and Forms using Xforms technology Around 29 Reports we developed using views , procedures , Functions and Queries . in the queries we used the tables which are designed in Data Model for ex : - cds_ss_Policy , cds_policy , jbpm_process instance etc .

Project Description :

Its totally a Trading business where the company used to buy the products from vendor and sell it to the customer , Customers used to book the order's using Unified front end called UFE , VISTA this 2 tools are web based tools and Oracle apps 10.7 this orders is fetched by nightly jobs which used to run on daily basis and used to fetch the orders and pull it to dataware housing team and DWH team used to truncate and load the data into their tables . In sabic i have worked in EDI , AP , AR , GL where customer used to enter the orders through UFE and vista and at our end IN AR recivable interface in Accounts recivables which is used to run on daily basis it will fetch the orders from various sources and load into ar_interface table and after some Autoinvoiceing Master program we used to run manually and clear the interface . after this we have some jobs scheduled which takes this records and push it to DWH team where Dataware house team will trunk and load the data . In EDI we used to get the orders from various customers like HOME DEPOT , AMERICA AIRLINES and stores into EDI directory if any files are goes missing we used to reprocess and send .
