CANADA-SMS : A share holder management system SMS, it stores Clients and Dealers information of Franklin Templeton CANADA and it is like a repository for account holder s information. This application is use the Transfer Agency of Franklin Templeton and through this application 1 can place various transactions like purchase, redemptions, PAC and other transactions. TA department uses this application daily to store various details of clients and dealers. This application will interact other external applications like FundSERV and Global Image.
Having around 3 years experience in Software Testing with Franklin Templeton India Services Company, Hyderabad of which includes : Manual Testing-
Review BRS/ SRS documents and understand the scope of the project
Estimate high-level LOE for the project and submit it to Project Manager PM
Create Master Test Strategy for the Project, provide walkthrough to Business/ DEV team partners and attain sign-off on the deliverable
Work with PM closely on allocating resources to the project
Plan for KT sessions for the engaged testing team on the project
Attend CSD/ SDS Walkthrough and come up with a detailed LOE
Estimate detailed LOE for the project and submit it to PM
Create Detailed Test Plan for the project, provide walkthrough to Business/ DEV team partners and attain sign-off on the deliverable
Allocate/ Involve in identifying high-level Test Scenarios for the project

Fund/SERV, central processing system for mutual fund transactions, enables mutual fund distributors and firms to enter, confirm, settle and register purchase, exchange and redemption orders in an efficient and automated environment Regression Testing is processed for FundSERV Functionality to make sure all the transactions involving purchases, redemptions, switch, Backdated purchases, Transfers, Corrections, Settlement Registration are executed per test scenario. FundSERV being the Sub-system for SMS the transaction would be posted to SMS after the Final Day cycle has run.
FundSERV is called as Electronic standards Group ESG. ESG standards is changing every 6 months based on the dealers requests and government rules.

This project reduces the waiting of dealers and cost incurred by Franklin Templeton Investments.
