Employment

2009 -  Present
Test Engineer contractor

of Bartech Company
Supporting the data acquisition system for diagnosing the In Vehicle Based Safety System IVBSS that is used for truck fleets. The system includes multiple radars and video cameras that are communicating via CAN buses.

Analyzing the acquired data by using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 tool to perform data mining and data modeling activities.

2008 -  2009
Design Engineer contractor

of Bartech Company
Supporting and updating LabView programs to run the Acceptance Test Procedures for military and commercial aircraft electrometrical actuators. These programs on the test stands simulate the real time environments for a given test. Test stands are using DSP controller to control PWM electric motor and linear motion DC motors that are using 480 volts DC.

2000 -  2008
System Engineer

DaimlerChrysler Corporation Chelsea , MI
Supervised electric charging station laboratory for the Hybrid Electric Vehicles and developed a safety procedure to run the charging/discharging cycles. The station consisted of a 3 phase 480/240 volts AC and the DC site was 240AC/480D volts.

Supported Brake testing data acquisition systems and documented the calibration and repair activities.
The following systems hardware/software and procedures were developed : o Calibration procedure, based on the Fluke Metcal strategy, for temperature/humidity sensors.
o American Association for Laboratory Accreditations A2LA - certified calibration procedure for vibrating and DC accelerometers.
o LabView-based and Visual Basic-based data acquisition systems for measuring and controlling the instrumented vehicles and test cells. Example projects are : Calibration and Verification for accelerometers on shaker system, Vehicle Speed Monitoring by using Driver Aid speed signature, Fault Reduction as a result of robotic automated test process for mileage accumulator and Vehicle Suspension Evaluation by using Tire Lead performance test.

o Mange database activities for the Shaker system and in-house pass-by projects for storing calibration and configuration data using the Microsoft SQL server system.
Applied Shainin Greenbelt methodology to eliminate robot failures during Powertrain durability tests.

1995 -  2000
As a Computer Engineering Services contractor

System Engineer
Developed LabView-based data acquisition systems for measuring and controlling the vehicle signals and test cells. Examples are : In-vehicle data acquisitions Transient Fuel Analyzer, Body hardware test and Leaf spring performance test.
Developed Data Analysis Systems for Vehicle Dynamics, Road Roughness and Vehicle body parts data. These systems used LabView, MatLab and C programming software and engine calibration database to calculate fuel charge, valve events and engine speed under transient operation.

1993 -  1995
Software Engineer

ServoTech Inc Belleville , MI
Developed a LabView Diagnostic Software for recording the 4.6L engine valve events and was used at Ford Motor Company.
Developed a Data Acquisition System used for monitoring the performance of variable displacement engine by LabView.

1986 -  1988
Research Assistant

Marshall Space Flight Center Huntsville , AL
Updated and supported the FORTRAN based application to evaluate the stability and performance criteria on the selective flight apparatus at Gamma-Ray Laboratory.
