Responsibilities : Manual testing, with a focus on Multilingual regression and Localization. Responsible for finding the readiness of the product with the latest Windows Vista OS. Reporting and Bug Tracking. Design the testcases based on the Requirements and UI. Generate Acceptance Criteria. Product s Feature owning, Language and OS owning for QC and Releases. Project Description : The project is about Migration of settings. Creating XML scripts for import and export of registry settings. The user while installing any software retains some default settings. When this installed software is upgraded, the user wishes to migrate or retain all these settings to the upgraded version. SCM enables the user to capture and migrate these settings. There is a central server maintained by organization in order to have control over different versions of the products.
KeyRoles : Finding out the settings/options the user can enable or disable and their corresponding registry entries. Write scripts that can retain these registry settings even if the product is upgraded. Finding out the feature that are modified and upgraded between the versions and generate scripts accordingly. Test the scripts by installing different products and upgrading the version while applying the scripts. The scripts are rolled out as a package and are deployed from a central server. Maintaining the Central server with the Organization specific version of different products.
MajorAchievements : The achievement I was most pleased was, creating the Migration settings across different MSOffice versions. Finding out the common settings for all of the MSOffice across different versions.

Project Symantec- Gaultier
Client : Symantec, Utah.
Product Description : A Bare metal machine which is in a DHCP, should be up and running with in half an hour. The System and Application packages are deployed on to the client machine. Identifying the client through the MAC ID, Application and System Software Packages are unwrapped as Operating Systems, Application Software at the client end. Any Organization can use this for multiple Remote installations and uninstallations of the machines by restricting the users in manipulating the software installed.
KeyRole : Creating Multilingual installation and uninstallation packages with Adobe Acrobat Reader, WinZip, Mozilla firefox, Thunderbird, MSOffice. Deploying Multilingual Operating system packages along with the Application packages. Finding out all of the registry entries of the system and ensure successful installation and uninstallation of the individual application packages. Testing the deployment and recovery under different timezones.
MajorAchievements : My major acheivement during this project was successful creation of unattended Windows OS installations for Windows XP, 2000, Vista. Did a full cycle testing from creating the packages to deploying them on to a baremetal machine and ensure that the machine is up and running as a normal machine in half an hour. Conducting the exploratory on different hardware and OS combinations and bringing out critical issues.

BluRoute is an Internet based technology solution that enables businesses to deliver advertisements, printed coupons, etc. through their channel partners to focused, targeted consumers. Consumers trade their demographic data for geographically focused money off coupons and vouchers which they print and redeem at physical stores or web sites. Advertisement management is done in dotNet and Advertisement Targeting is implemented in J2EE.
KeyRole : Responsible for the design and development of the test cases, internal Knowledge Management. These responsibilities included usability testing, broken link, Build acceptance tests, Release testing, Web Testing. Updating test plan. Planning work breakdown across the team members at release times.
