1999 -  2001

Senior Project Manager managed major effort to identify, correct, test and implement Y2K bugs and fixes in Unix based service platform software software written in C++, C and proprietary 4GL. Conducted off-site demos of pre and post Y2K fixes for major RBOC s Regional Bell Operating Companies. Led project teams averaging 6 people responsible for over a dozen successful hardware, operating system and application software upgrades. Led quality assurance efforts for all facsimile products. Identified software and process problems, tracked the correction cycle and rolled fixes and upgrades out to the production environment. Headed up testing and quality assurance efforts for successful implementation of a totally new corporate billing system NT/SQL server based which replaced a non-Y2K compliant system. Coded SQL queries for test analysis. Assisted with the billing system conversion from AS400 platform to Compaq Windows NT platform. Successfully migrated service application from Sequent PTX/Unix to both SCO Unix and NCR System V Unix environments.
