Summary


Objective I currently work as a freelance project manager/ lead consultant, having implemented ERP solutions for a variety of companies in Manufacturing and Distribution .I are responsible for the full end to end business process design starting from requirements gatherings and have acted as project manager on a number of projects .I have extensive cross functional skills ranging from customer order management, inventory management, production planning processes to finance. Prior to ERP system implementations I worked as a software development manager .I enjoy the challenges associated with aligning IT solutions with Business objectives/ requirements and enjoy working as either a project manager or working as a lead/senior business consultant. The main ERP systems I are involved with are MOVEX Lawson M3, Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Baan and Syspro Impact. Experience 2007 - 2009 Erptech Dublin
I are working as a freelance consultant since late 2007, initially as on a project for ESAB a global producer/distributor of welding equipment and consumables rolling out a project throughout Eastern Europe contracted as Customer order management design lead my role became a rollout lead .I am contracted to Aryzta IAWS food group supporting their transition from a multi-site, multi-warehouse structure to a single site shared service centre.

Sysco Software are a Microsoft Partner Implementing Navision into medium sized businesses in Ireland as project manager and lead consultant my role was to develop both the project plan and design the solution. Projects included a book publisher/distributor, a large distributor of gas and an animal feeds producer.


2005 -  2006
Project Manager

Intentia/Lawson Ireland Blanchardstown
I returned to Ireland in 2005 working as Project Manager and Senior Business Consultant on a project for Intentia Belgium my role entailed the creation/maintenance of the project plan, insuring resources were effective, while being responsible for the delivery of the manufacturing aspect of the solution. The project in Belgium Cogebi a manufacturer of Mica a heat resistant material used in aeronautics and performance cars, had gone live by the time I became involved, my focus was to turn the project around by identifying the critical issues and managing the resources to effect a solution.


2003 -  2005
Senior Business Consultant

Intentia/Lawson Australia Sydney Australia
In 2003 I was seconded to the Australia office for 2 years. Initially acting as Lead Design Consultant/Solution Architect for Harvey Norman a well known consumer goods retailer based in Australia with shops now in Ireland. My role was to insure the design of the solution worked across all the functional areas of the system, ie that it was a complete end to end solution, support of their shared services centre. Post the Harvey Norman project I worked with Bluescope Steel initially in a design and support role and then as a member of the Root Cause Analysis team, a team tasked with understanding the critical changes necessary for Bluescope and its partners to make, to succeed in the roll out of the solution. Bluescope have numerous sites throughout Australia and the Fareast producing formed metal sheeting.

I worked on a number of projects while with Intentia Ireland both as project manager and lead consultant focused mainly on Customer Order Management, distribution and manufacturing. These implementations included Tegral Metal Forming, Sigma Group and Portwest Clothing. During my time in Cap Gemini I worked with Syspro Impact ERP Product performing a number of implementations into small distribution and manufacturing companies acting as project manager and lead consultant followed by implementations of Baan into a number of larger companies, Tyco Sensormatic and Crown forklifts, where my role was as senior customer order management and distribution consultant, these projects were global in nature and required extensive co-ordination between the facilities involved, Baan implementations were controlled using the Baan Target implementation methodology while the Syspro Impact implementations were controlled using the CAP Gemini implementation methodology. 1992 - 1995 Asgard Software.
