Responsibilities include the maintenance of Nortel S8000 and S12000. Trained new field techs on T-Mobile procedures and installation techniques.

Cleared and verified alarms on the Nortel BTS, troubleshooting T-1 circuits, LNA s, radios, duplexers, amplifiers, 911 call testing and interference troubleshooting. Sweep UMTS antenna cables with site master. Used site master for spectrum verification and clearing frequencies for new NOKIA 3G UMTS technology. Add additional T1 s for NOKIA NODE B - UMTS equipment, terminate connection between NODE- B and Nortel equipment and update controller card and quad cards with proper software updates. Set up Microwave hops and the installation of microwave equipment. Give training and direction to other field personnel. Self supervise, work independently from upper management. Used HOMER to get trouble tickets and updates on cell site. Monitor Nortel cell sites, new UMTS equipment. Quarterly, Semi-annual and Annual maintenance of cell site equipment and grounds, landscaping and construction related issues. Update multiple documents and plans, site statistics, QA forms. Deployment of Axxius 800 CSU, True Position LMU-N and 3G EDGE compliant equipment. Work closely with RF Engineers to exceed company standard for MOU/drop.

Uploaded and maintained hundreds of site folders into NOLS and utilized the Nokia SDA tool and E-PM. Cell tracker was used to track the progress of each cell Nokia Ultra site installed.
