AFP and SMB are used to share xSAN volumes to other operating systems like OMNEON bakup playput system, WINDOWS server for NORCOM News Central Automation Software
Responsible for the maintenance and configuration of 2 MacPro's configured as PLAYOUT system for NEWS and connected as xSAN clients
these are compose of AJA Kona 3 and FinalCut Studio 2 - we use
FCP for the movies to be played out and send an output signal to
Kona 3 which is being transmitted to satellite for broadcasting it on air
Responsible for maintaining and configuration of 10 MacPro's Edit suites and 4 MacPro's Graphic suites all connected to as an xSAN clients that will authenticate in 1 central directory
these Edit suites are compose of Final Cut Studio 2 and Adobe
Photoshop/Illustrator CS2 ME Middle Eastern version and AJA

Each Edit suite has a SONY XDCAM deck connected through firewire and will xdcam transfer software for capturing directly to

the 25 iMacs and 15 mac minis is for staff/management employees in NEWS and PRODUCTION department plus 10 macbook's and macbook pro's for supervisors

the 5 mac minis are configured for BARCO systems displaying a experience movie file played using QuickTime in a big screen of the NEWS TV studio.
Responsible for supporting Final Cut Pro and xSAN clients - these includes troubleshooting FCP/xSAN if problems occurs

Boot camp is installed on 2 MacPro to accommodate 3D studio
