I was working with First Health Services group in Harrisburg with the Pennsylvania State PACE program Prescription Assistance Contract for the Elderly. Discussed project goals and business requirements with end users and analyzed application functionality to develop the best path of conversion. Provided system impact analysis of projects for management. Prepared unit and regression test plans and testing scenarios with probable outcomes and prepared system integration test plans and other pertinent documentation. Gathered production test data to run baseline testing against unmodified code and again with the modified code to verify desired results. Actively participated in end user integration testing and Quality Assurance testing. Participated extensively in the National Provider Identification conversion of existing COBOL II CICS programs and COBOL II batch programs, BMS maps and MVS JCL using SDLC. We work with VSAM files ; KSDS with unique and alternate indexes and ESDS files. We utilize FTP and Synchsort. Our programming and testing tools consist of Endevor TSO/ISPF version 5.2 on Mainframe Extra/Enterprise 7.1A and Viasoft ASG-ESW to test and debug both batch and online programs. Our file manipulation tool is File Aid 8.9.0 Other interoffice tools used are Microsoft Office 2003 and MS Outlook 2003 for office communications.

Senior Programmer Analyst

I supported the Title 4A-4D software interface with the State of West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources RAPIDS Project, OSCAR Child Support Enforcement Division .I used a CA-Telon 4.0 editing utility for CICS programs and Micro Focus Mainframe Express version 3.0.75 for editing and testing of both CICS and batch COBOL programs. Provided system impact analysis of assigned projects for management after analyzing business needs and applications involved .I worked on an IBM 390 processor with MVS or TSO and ISPF version 5.2 ; utilizing Platinum 6.0 and ISQL for DB2 queries. SQL Wizard is used for internal DB2 data manipulation for testing in Mainframe Express. Other tools used : Startool 7.6.0 dataset utility for both GDG's and VSAM files, FTP for transmitting files to the server, Quatro Pro 10.0 Excel-like functions, Windows 2000 Professional and Novel Groupwise internal communications. My functions include timely problem resolution ; modification of existing RAPIDS specialized software, both CICS and batch COBOL ; creation of new COBOL programs to fit the needs of the State ; creating or modifying JCL, PROCs, DB2 control cards and SQL when needed, extensive testing of modified code, extensive documentation and on-call duties when necessary.

Farm Fresh is a subsidiary of the Supervalu Corporation .I programmed for 3 corporations : Farm Fresh, Shoppers and Metro. My responsibilities included the support and maintenance of the following systems : Store labels ; Shoppers Merchandise Order Book, Purchase history and reporting ; Scan down, markdown and bill posting and reporting ; Unicru interfaces for new employees, terminations, changes in employment and SSA verification of SS numbers ; Hippa Certificate generation and corresponding reports. Additionally for Farm Fresh, I created the Vialink interfaces for item promotional file processing and reporting ; I assisted in Integral payroll processing, payroll reporting and quarterly and yearly closing and maintaining the insurance and payroll detail files .I designed new labels as needed. Extensive use of Synchsort, FTP, VSAM, MVS JCL, COBOL I and II, ELT, BIMEDIT 5.4 and Easytrieve Plus, IDCAMS .I completed in-house courses for HTML, JavaScript and UFO.
