Developed Hardware Abstraction Layer for ECIL s Smart Card operating system ECOS

The smart card H/W resource is based on Intel s 8051 core. The card operating system is used in Indian driving licenses, citizenship cards, ecommerce and banking applications. ECOS complies with ISO 7816 standards.

sF2700 is a PIC18F8720 controller based stand alone terminal with a finger print biometrics based access control system. Peripherals include graphics LCD, keypad, finger print device, contactless RFID smartcard reader, RTC and serial port.

Part of design team doing schematic design, PCB design, signal integrity analysis using SI tools, assembling coding and testing.
Wrote functional test suites in C.
Participated with front end design team to integrate sF2700 into application environments.

Developed firmware in C cross compiler KEIL.
Generated all production documentation, user manual for TCS-96 terminal.
